Octane Capital launched in May 2017 with an origin story that gives it unusual credibility for a relatively young lender. CEO Jonathan Samuels and his co-founders were the senior management team at Dragonfly Property Finance — the lender where Samuels earned the Bridging and Commercial Award for Outstanding Contribution to Bridging in 2015.
