The team brings serious industry credentials. CEO Rob Roscoe previously held leadership roles at Proplend and Sancus Finance, and led funding and strategic partnerships. Head of underwriting Hemant Bharkhada spent time at West One Loans where he underwrote over £400 million of loans across development finance, bridging and buy-to-let. That experience shows in how the business operates — technology accelerates the process, but experienced people make the lending decisions.

In 2024, Shawbrook increased its funding facility to Colenko to £15 million on a block discounting basis, reflecting confidence in the team's growth trajectory and operational rigour. Colenko is a patron lender of the NACFB and a member of the ASTL.
